Disable HD on a Sangean HDR-18

I have an HD station that is marginal and flaps between HD and analog a lot. The analog signal is nice and strong. Anyone know a way to disable HD on the HDR-18?

I have the same model radio and I honestly don’t think there is a way to disable the HD, if I find out otherwise, I will posst here. Good luck, ANd btw- I love the radio, but have to admit it’s not the most user friendly radio around, too many menu buttons just to accomplish a simple task.

I haven't seen or found a way to force analog on the -18.

I tried it also.....it only lets you switch to MONO when the signal is STEREO, not HD.

That feature doesn't seem to have any impact, just as the "internal/external" antenna switch doesn't seem to. The device itself only has one speaker, but changing the setting from stereo to mono I still hear great stereo sound in headphones plugged in to the front. <shrug>
