The news is that Young -- one of the '60s on 6 crew at XM in its pre-Sirius-takeover days -- is now doing mornings at a classic hip-hop station in Florida. Hmmmm, a white guy with a background in baby boomer oldies on a rap station? I guess his shtick could work there, since it doesn't require deep knowledge of the genre to talk a mile a minute about how who you're listening to and how great the station is. But who knows? Maybe he actually likes and knows hip-hop.
