New station in Mansfield on 106.7 frequency?

It looks like a new station has appeared at 106.7 FM in the Mansfield area. I couldn't find any information on radio-locator about a station in the area on the 106.7 frequency, but the new facebook page for a rebranded station is directing listeners up the dial to 106.7. http://facebook.com/973TheSpur

Mansfield formerly had an AM/FM station at 1440 AM & 97.3 FM. Now the 97.3 frequency appears to have been rebranded to country.

Anyone in Mansfield know what is going on with all the station flipping?

106.7 FM is a translator for AM 1440 WRGM - It was obtained as part of the "AM Revitalization" window opened by the FCC.

97.3 FM is a translator that's a "mini FM" basically - they are rebroadcasting one of the HD subchannels of 106.1 WVNO. [the AM sports format was simulcasted on the HD sub channel of WVNO 106.1 to feed the programming to 97.3 until they launched 106.7]

(both stations are owned by the folks who own Mix 106.1 WVNO they also have a translator at 99.3 they own that also rebroadcasts an HD subchannel of WVNO).

106.7 is new for them they just built it out recently and just filed their "license to cover" 08/10/2018 and it must be paired with 1440 AM.

Looks like they just are moving their formats around. The sports that was on 1440/97.3 has moved to 1440/106.7 and 97.3 is running a new format originating off one of the WVNO's HD channels leaving the sports to the AM station and it's new translator (per the AM revitalzation requirements 106.7 has to broadcast whatever is on 1440 AM so it makes sense to move the sports off the HD channel feeding 97.3 to 106.7 so they can launch a new format on 97.3.
