KZRO Files again -- for the 6th time

Trying to save a dead horse -- C1. Same site on the tower next door. Only 3 towers on this site. Mapleton KRRX, Oregon State and the old AT&T tower with EMF 107.9. All have said NO when asked to use their towers.
KZRO must modify the 107.9 tower mounted on a 75 foot tall microwave tower. EMF is not happy and does not want KZRO to touch the tower that they paid for. . KZRO must pay up but has no cash. KZRO wants to extend the 107.9 tower by 30 feet or so and mount the 100.1 antenna on top.
FCC 301 filed. No other documents filed. Not even a lease application. Just fly by night.

They've had it listed with brokers on and off for years.. and want WAY too much!

I wonder how much the station bills?

KZRO-FM's latest application is on the FCC blocked list.

AM and FM Blocked Modification Applications and AM and FM Pending Modification Applications are released twice a month and are intended to give a general sense of where minor change radio construction permit applications are in the process of review. These lists include Low Power FM (LPFM) station applications and FM translator applications.

The FCC has granted the KZRO -FM license modification.

Since the application proposes to mount its FM antenna above the
co-located existing directional antenna of KKRN(FM),Facility ID No.
172603, Bella Vista, CA, the permittee shall submit an exhibit
including a statement from the manufacturer of KKRN's directional
antenna stating that the proposed antenna will have no adverse effect
on the KKRN directional antenna pattern.
 
KZRO has no intention of ANY C1 build-out. No cash on hand. Just waiting for a sucker buyer like the two other C-1's in Siskiyou County - in Weed (102.3) and Yreka (103.9).
 
Dennis Michaels can kiss any sale of KZRO -- Goodbye. Mapleton just sold its' Redding Group Plus 95.7 (B) in Red Bluff which locks up the new group from adding another station to their holdings and Jefferson Public Radio just bought 101.1 C2 Palo Cedro KWCA (Redding) to its holdings. No one else needs a single station FM in the Redding Market. KWCA sold for just $ 230,000. Way below the KZRO asking price.
