Alex Trebek has a beard

Like I said when he wanted to grow his mustache back it's his face, so he can do what he wants, but his wife may make the final decision.

It's not just Trebek, all daytime and late talk shows (Steve Harvey, Stephen Colbert, etc.) are now sporting beards, it's like watching sage professors teaching University courses, lol.

Not any more, he doesn't. Strangely, he didn't even mention it. And how far in advance do they tape/ in order for a viewer poll to mean anything, they would have had to hear instant results even if last night's episode was taped the day after the first episode with the beard aired.

Already shaved, huh? I totally missed it. Remember when Johnny Carson tried a beard in the mid 80's? After he shaved it off, he commented in the monologue about how an old lady mistook him for one of the Smith brothers. Then, after one of his patented pauses, "The cough drop guys.". Another public figure who joined the beard brotherhood is Lovie Smith, the former Bears/Bucs coach who's now at Illinois. I honestly didn't recognize him the first time I saw him on TV this year.
