Kuhner is teasing a big announcement he will be making on Thursday at 12:05pm. I doubt he will be announcing his contract was not renewed. The question is, will he be moving to AM 1200 and will Rush return to WRKO?

Except for the column his posts on the WRKO site and then begs listeners to share with friends, Kuhner has not exactly been prolific with his off air productions. He said on Monday that he would be producing a special podcast about the Cavanaugh hearings but that hasn't materialized yet. Something called the Fourth Hour podcast hasn't been produced in months. His last video rant was more than a year ago. My favorite was the one directed at the principal of his sons school. Kuhner threatened to pull his son out of his parochial school and home school him after they told Kuhner he could not park in a restricted area.
Anyone tune in to hear it? Just remembered.

Kuhners big announcement was that at the request of the US Senate Judiciary Committee Kuhner provided the Republican staff members with what he described as invaluable information that proves that the accusations surrounding Brett Cavanaugh are all false. Kuhner said he developed this information from reading and from what callers to his program told him. He then claimed he is constantly receiving death threats and Grace asked him if it was time to consider a new career. He then went on to claim he is being constantly harassed by fellow IHEART employees. The only specific example was his claim that people throw the stories he sends to the printer and throw them in the trash. A friend of mne who uses the same printer as Kuhner finds his claim hard to believe.
He constantly claims that Facebook is about to take his latest column down from his page. That has never happened. He has 4 different FB pages. There is Jeffrey Kuhner, Jeffrey T. Kuhner, Jeff Kuhner and Official Kuhner Country.
I would love to be on the phone when the Judiciary Committee staffer asks Kuhner were he got all his information. I read it on sites like Gateway Pundit and Jerry on the Cape who calls my show everyday told me Ford was a CIA Operative.

LMAO, I love this thread! kooooooner is a legend in his own mind. The new promo is something from fantasy island. I heard it overnite the other nite. Apparently the women of Boston have voted him number one......my question is....number one in what....not doing show prep? being a drama queen? being a fake/fraud/phony? making his audience believe he's so important that Trump's people actually listen to his show and repeat things he says? When I used to listen to him over three years ago he was always claiming that the libs were after him, or competitors were trashing him, he had Adriana Cohen on his show years ago and accused her of trashing him, she basically laughed in his face, there was no proof she trashed him. It's funny because Howie was the one during the primaries who was close to Trump, Howie was on Trump's plane with Trump, Howie introduced Trump at a rally, I think it was up in NH, Howie was at Ernie Bock jr's house when Trump was there, has Trump ever called into koooooner's show? Trump has been on Howie's show a couple of times. Was koooooner invited to DC months ago or maybe it was last year when certain talkshow hosts were invited to DC to spend a few minutes talking to Trump. SMH
Kuhner one station, Howie about 28 plus one hr is on a cable channel (Newsmax etc).Somehow he gets some ad $ for iHR..local stuff.Otherwise iHR could sell off 1200, air Rush live on "the great WRKO" and do Sean on delay at 7.Not that either host would do well in ratings.

"the great WRKO" got rid of limbaugh because it was too expensive to air him, isn't that how koooooner ended up in that noontime slot, as for hannity at 7, RKO iheart just got rid of tape delayed ramsey and put Joe Pags on live from 7 - 9 and then first hour delay nine to 10, listeners have been demanding RKO give Mike Siegel his own show instead of a constant fill in for years, so RKO or iheart in it's infinite wisdom decided to put him on from 10p to 1a when mostly everyone who loves him is asleep, nice going. Talk1200 has beck, limbaugh, hannity, buck sexton, levin, they'd be foolish to sell off the station unless of course, the new station keeps all those programs.
That's what they said. But it came at a time when a lot of talk stations, including several owned by iHeart, moved Rush to smaller stations and replaced him with a local host. Some of it was caused by the ongoing advertiser boycott. But the result was that these stations didn't lose audience by replacing Rush with a local host. Plus they get to keep 100% of the revenue without having to share any of it with a syndicator.
Pags is live 6-9 eastern. RKO carries him live 7-9, and 6pm is on tape delay at 9pm. Siegal is live 10-1 eastern (he's based on the left coast, not on east coast) so the only way to carry him at an earlier time-slot would be to put him on a 1-day tape delay. So, I think it's about the best you're going to get, what RKO currently has for filling air time now.
I've been listening to Pags more and more these days. I actually listen to him on the iHeart app (was listening to his weekend show this morning, for instance) since I rarely listen to the radio from 7-9pm. He's pretty good on national politics, sort of like Kuhner can be from time to time, but without the drama queen/funny voices/low-brow antics which, apparently, appeal to K0000nah's low-IQ audience. While Siegel is very informative depending on his guests (and he has excellent guests), he can also be as boring as watching dirt dry. Not Ramsey-level boring, but enough that the 10-1 slot is a good fit since he'll put you to sleep if you have insomnia.

RKO can dump koooooooooner and put Siegel in that slot and have him go "national baaaayyyyybeeeee"! I like Pags, I especially like his parodies...he did one recently about Avenatti that was really funny!
1.) How is it that "listeners were demanding" they give Siegal his own show?
2.) I'm not sure how many people "love him"....but RKO did not give him a show, they are taking his syndicated web show...which sounds pretty crappy audio and content wise. Nothing local at all. It's probably free for WRKO to carry. No money or effort on their part. They seem to be using his as "filler".

Regrettable, but true.
Not only is the audio of substandard quality, but it is obvious the show is not local. I'd forgotten Siegel had a syndicated show of his own; in fact, I thought he might've given it up. Had he done so, 'RKO would've had a decent product to air between 10:00 PM and 1:00 AM (we,, the audio might've been better).
When Siegel was live on 'RKO while covering for another host, his guests were generally interesting, with lots of "insider" info, though during the interviews and monologues Siegel himself came across as too intense.
All in all, Siegel is a bright guy with lots of knowledge and access to interesting guests, but his syndicated offering is off-putting.

A lot of us emailed the program director at RKO over the years "demanding" RKO give Siegel his own show......yeah yeah yeah, RKO didn't "give" him a show....they're airing his syndicated show, point is, we've been asking for years for Siegel to be on RKO and now they throw him on at 10pm....I agree, the audio isn't exactly the best, sounds like he's in a tin can, as for the content, that's a matter of opinion, I've always liked what Siegel presents, he has intelligent guests, he's intelligent, there's not a lick of drama, or hysteria, stupid voices, hysterical laughing, etc etc etc like what's on from noon to three on RKO and Siegel actually does show prep....I don't listen to limbaugh for "local" things, that's what Howie is for and as for Siegel being a "filler", he's still better than other so called "hosts" on RKO.
