Is the "Jazz Decades" gone from 'GBH-FM?

WGBH use to run the Jazz Decades program with Ray Smith. I'm not sure if it still aired on FM, but there was a stream that was available on-demand. But it appears no longer....?

Jazz Decades played older Jazz from the Jazz years.

They now seem to have a Jazz 24/7 stream that is kinda generic with no host as they had with Ray Smith.

Is Ray and Jazz Decades been chased out of the building?

Is "Jazz 24/7" a generic NPR thing?

I don't know the answers to your specific questions regarding WGBH, but I know there are several jazz formats available to non-commercial stations around the country.

For example, WFMT in Chicago runs The Jazz Network: https://radionetwork.wfmt.com/programs/jazz-network/

This appears to be hosted, rather than the unhosted service you describe.

That may be coming from KUSC in Los Angeles. Or they could simply be using their computer to handle unhosted programming.

So if WGBH sought to replace its local jazz stream with a similar service, there are a few available.
