Brammy's thought's: Could the ratings increase on WTIC (AM) and CT Public Radio have to do with the big political stories? Or is WTIC(AM) up because of The Redsox?

Probably both for WTIC. I would be interested in the world series breakdown between WTIC and WUCS. Who was tuning into the FM broadcast since they were both taking the national feed.

Did WFCR conduct a pledge drive at an inopportune time?

Incidentally, is the name Brammy a salute to the author of Dracula, or is it an abbreviation of Bramophone?

Yes, I listen to WFCR and early October was fund drive time. When that happens, I turn to W220CE (10-watt translator of WMNR Monroe) or WSHU for my classical fix.

I listened to WUCS or the Red Sox feed on SiriusXM throughout, basically because I had no idea WTIC would be carrying the national feed as well.

I hadn't realized the signals of WFCR and WSHU overlapped.

It's a nickname I'm trying to get my friends to use. It was given to me by a friend of mine who lives in the suburbs of Philly. My real last name can be found in my signature, which links to my Facebook page and that's where Brammy comes from.
