The flip to all Christmas music happened at 8:30. I'm curious why so soon and why the odd time.
Was another station planning to go all Christmas music?
Bob FM HD-3 has their Christmas channel on.

One thought and I’m not sure how realistic, but an extended Christmas format that segues into Soft AC as 101.9 The Breeze?
That was my thought but time will tell. As of 645p, Q is still airing Christmas music.
It's still the Christmas season (the 12 days of Christmas start Dec. 25). However, I'm (pleasantly) surprised, too, that they haven't returned to their regular format already. They've been running promos saying that they'll return to it soon, but they haven't announced a day.
Thanks for the info. I was hoping we would get a new format such as Hot AC with a Rhythmic lean on 101.9.
