Activists approached the Washington, D.C.-area residence of the star host.
Protesters targeted the Washington, D.C., home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night, ringing the door bell and chanting, "Racist scumbag, leave town!"

An anti-fascist group called Smash Racism DC announced the protest in a video posted late Wednesday: "BREAKING. Activists ring doorbell, hold protest at the Washington DC area home of @TuckerCarlson, racist, sexist, bigoted FOX News personality. So far no one has opened the door."

“Tucker Carlson, we will fight!" the protesters chanted. "We know where you sleep at night!”

Carlson, one of the network's biggest stars, has previously been targeted by activists. In a podcast last month, the host said he can't dine out at restaurants anymore (except for one) because people keep yelling obscenities at him.

This protest was ongoing at the time of post.
 
I was hoping that the left would stay squeaky clean on this so that the republicans wouldn't have any ammunition other than lies and innuendo.

There is a difference between progressive Democrats and anarchists. I don't think the majority of the ANTIFA protesters are in favor of any aspect of our governmental or social systems.

Unfortunately when you have the leader of the government defining who the players are, it's very difficult for any one to bring sanity to the conversation. So these protesters are lumped in with everyone who isn't loyal to that leader. And he supports similar protests by white nationalists and conspiracy theorists.
 
Before this incident CNN journalist Chris Cuomo defended Antifa after they attacked reporters at an event, other cnn host have defended Antifa at other times too.

And Hannity pointed at journalists covering the Trump rally last week and called them fake news.

You mentioned Cuomo & Lemon. I mention Hannity. What's the difference?

It goes both ways. It's one thing to have protesters at your house. It's another to have them mail a pipe bomb to your house or office. The main thing is that CNN doesn't condone what happened at Tucker's house.

Protesters at your house isn't a crime unless they cause damage. There's a lot of terrorism going on.

I mentioned Cuomo and Lemon because they defended Antifa even after doing something very similar to journalists. People were highly critical at both of them and that's why I brought it up.

Being this a messageboard about TV, I'm not interested in the political aspect of this so I will just leave it here.

Most of the terrorism comes from the fake outrage by Carlson and his colleges. They are the ones spreading hate with their propaganda.

They did not "crash thorough".... they crashed "into" the door, cracking the wood. That is bad enough, and were that to happen at my home 911 would be dialed and the weapon would be taken out of its lockbox just in case.

Having been a victim of violence, I know how absolutely terrifying this must have been for Tucker's spouse.

However, our Constitution gives him, just as it gives Rachael Maddow, the right to express their opinions. Neither Tucker nor Rachael should have their home attacked because of it.
