Surprised Cher rated a syndicated special at this point. Her career was revived greatly the next year with the release of the film 'Mask'.

Magnum and Cosby were in a pitched battle during Cosby's first season. Cosby finished at like #8, Magnum at #15.

4 WTAE ABC Pittsburgh

10:30 Jack Bogut

Morning drive DJ for KDKA radio from the late 60's into the early 80's.
He was lured away by rival WTAE radio (at what the time was viewed as a major coup)
to do morning drive there.

Part of the deal was that he insisted on being able to do television as well.
WTAE, having both TV and radio stations at the time, was willing to oblige.
He took over their morning TV talk show, and also produced a pilot for a sitcom
which I think was called Big Sky Café (he's a Montana native). I remember going
to pick-up a date and watching some of it with her family while I was waiting for her.
Horrifyingly awful was a pretty apt description.

Jack Bogut is a very polite, mild-mannered guy, which really does not translate well to television.
