Cincinnati Country

Congratulations to Jeff, Peter, and everyone at the Classic Country duo. The #2 country outlet in the city. It amazes me that Hubbard was stupid (or egotistical) enough to let you guys gain traction. I'm rooting for you. You sound great!

You realize classic country and current country are two very different formats and two very different audiences. Cumulus could have used their frequency for Nash Icon, but they didn't, and that left the door open for these guys.

radioactive. I can only see the published numbers, but it's a solid second place showing! I'm very happy for them. Now they need to turn it into money

Nash Icon isn't a classic country format anyway. It plays a mix of current and classic country, including an unfortunately high number of "bro country" sings. Nash Icon also plays Taylor Swift.

What 106.7 & 105.9 are playing is FAR SUPERIOR to what Nash Icon offers!

LMAO @ Gnash-FM's paltry ratings!!!!

I could run a fart loop for 24 hours a day on a 50,000 watt signal and garner stronger ratings than those of WNNF. What a DISASTER!!!!

Small town - but expertly programmed - Classic Country 106.7 & 105.9 now have nearly DOUBLE the ratings of 94.1. Congrats to them.

I really wish the Columbus market would land a classic country format like 105.9/106.7. Where I live 105.9 is extremely fringe (Marysville,) but it was incredible to listen to them on 105.9 from Bellefontaine, Ohio to far south of Cincinnati on my trip to Georgia this past week. When I started receiving static, I flipped it to 106.7 and carried it to Lexington. Their playlist is very well tuned. Congrats to them! Classic country holds a strong desire in my area and nobody will give it a shot because the last "classic country" station we had didn't survive. IMHO that was solely due to a repetitive playlist and mismanagement. Y'all are lucky in Southwest Ohio!

The last "classic country" station in Columbus was WHOK 95.5 which was later moved to a pea-shooter at 107.1 before Wilks sold their Columbus stations. WCLT plays primarily newer country with a few older ones tossed in.

People like me are tired of the "Bro pop-country."
