A silly question about Howie Carr.

OK, something on the lighter side....

A cousin of mine is talking about getting "lap band" surgery, and in my concern, the first thing I thought about was Howie Carr and his experience with weight loss.

Lots of jokes about it on the air. Did he actually get lipo, or a lap band.

I don't listen to Howie regularly, I've heard him mention it, but never the details.

I know some people here are regular listeners and know his story. Has he shared how much he weighed before and now? (I guess it depends on someone's height.)

Thanks

Howie had "the sleeve" procedure.

Medical procedures, however, are no substitute for making lifestyle changes. Every doctor will tell you, even after getting some form of gastric bypass/procedure, unless you make changes to how you eat, you'll just get fat again. A large percentage of people who have weight loss surgery re-gain their weight over time as old habits return.

Anyone know the stats of what he lost on "the sleeve"?

I vaguely recall, when he was doing live reads for whatever the place was where he had his (free, I'm sure) procedure done, him mentioning being down "100 pounds".

He may still mention it from time to time on the radio, but its one of those things I mentally tune out now when he mentions it.
