WAIK Galesburg leaves the air

There are bunches of translators available near Galesburg. The FCC search tool suggests 18 channels which could be used in the town center. But presumably there is a reason it was not sold along with its sister stations.

Maybe it was one of those land deals where the seller had an option to sell the tower site. Or a maintenance problem. Or it just wasn't making money.

WAIK doesnt own the land the towers sit on nor do they own the towers
