NBC 10 Boston is not on Comcast in Bristol County due to the fact that Bristol County is assigned to the Providence area. However Ch 4 and 5 from Boston are carried. People in Bristol County do not get to see NBC 10 newscasts

Actually, I think Comcast in Bristol County carries all major Boston stations except WBTS.
WGBH and WGBX, WBZ and WSBK, WCVB, WLNE, WHDH, NECN, WJAR, WPRI and WNAC, WLWC (which is ION Life), WPXQ (ION), WSBE, WLVI and WFXT, all within the first 25 or so channels. WRIW-LP is on 740 (instead of WNEU), WNAC CW is on 813, WPRI MyTV on 820 and no WUNI or WUTF, opting for the national feeds instead.
Also Boston 25 is only on an SD channel (22) no HD channel and Fox Programming is blocked on Boston 25 making you tune to Fox Providence. Cannot stand watching Boston 25 news and non Fox programming in SD
NECN simulcasts NBC Boston at the following times:
-Monday through Friday, 4-7 AM and 4-4:30 PM
-Saturdays 5:30-7 AM
-Sunday 5:30-8 AM
So Comcast and Verizon subscribers in Bristol County, MA do get to see some of NBC Boston's newscasts. However, it makes NO sense that residents of Easton, MA are stuck watching RI stations when those in Blackstone, MA (further away from Boston and right on the RI border) are guaranteed access to all Boston stations. And sadly, the streaming services such as PlayStation Vue and YouTube TV deny Bristol County MA residents of Boston news, only carrying the Providence local stations.
