I just saw the FCC report on Radio Insight, and noticed that right at the top was KJET 105.7 has applied to move to South Mountain. It seems odd to me to keep the station at a C2 though, couldn't that be upgraded a bit, or does that have to do with the 105.7 in Skadget County that signed on a couple years ago? Also how can that move be made with no other stations licensed to Raymond? I know there's a proposed 107.9 there, but not sure what happened to it. Do translators count if you're talking about a move like this?

According to the section 307(b) showing KJET filed with its application, KBSG 90.1 will retain "first local service" to Raymond.
And the limitation to C2 instead of C1 is because of the spacing to KRSE in Yakima. It's actually not even fully-spaced as a C2 and will require the use of a DA at South Mountain to pull in the signal in that direction.
Obviously they will need to drop the name "The Jet" before even thinking about powering up from South Mountain. And hopefully if the move-in is successful, it'll become a format worth listening to...

Jodesha Broadcasting owns 11 stations and translators in the Seattle DMA.
"bossbill" is the president, and also the chief engineer.
I doesn't look like it will cover anything much, other than what it already does, with the exception of Bremerton. Why would they need to take away the “Jet” name? They still won’t be a Seattle station, so 95.7 isn’t a factor.
This move doesn't make much sense to me either. I thought KJET applied a few years ago to move north a little ways to eliminate the booster but keep the COL as Raymond. I'm not sure whatever happened to that application, but I remember Bill mentioning that. About the only thing I can see happening and I'm not even sure if this would work, is if KLSY abandons South Mountain for Gold as was speculated in a thread I started a couple months ago and 93.7 and 105.7 were to simulcast. I have no idea if there would be too much overlap in those signals for that though, I suspect there would be.
