G103-3

That's interesting!
You think someone will start up with oldschool, but more rap leaning to fill the gap left by G's change? Or perhaps other stations like The Beat will add more older rap to their playlist.

Highly unlikely. They still air a lot of Classic Hip Hop.

I love the changes 103.3 has made but the playlist needs to be expanded. Its literally the same songs over and over. Perhaps, adding a couple a few currents wouldn't be a bad idea.

Also, fresher jingles with a female voice is needed.

The Beat had an old school hip hop sister station in the Univision cluster. It lasted about the lifespan of a gnat before it flipped to a contemporary format targeting Hispanics.

The two Alpha Spanish language stations bill in the mid $2 million range, while the previous attempts at throwbacks by iHeart and Univision did not make it to that level and actually lost revenue compared to their prior formats.

Thanks David. I would imagine 104.1 bills a lot more than 95.7.

Alpha's 103.3 now seems to be targeting Latin females with it's new playlist.

G103.3 continues to see a steady flow of followers on social media. While the station has been trending up in the PPMs. Alpha should do a better job in informing listeners, G is also available on 94.1 HD-2.
