KUFW and KVPW.

The FCC has approved the assignments of KVPW-FM Kingsburg and KUFW-FM Woodlake between The Cesar Chavez Foundation and Educational Media Foundation. This was filed for in 2016. There was an objection filed but the FCC dismissed it.

Gerawan essentially was looking for a little payback against the UFW it would seem. I give credit to Dan, he'll look for any opportunity to take on the UFW.

The biggest fruit grower, packer, shipper in the world. I guess you're not from around these parts. The Gerawans are.

Thanks. Gerawans are like Simplot is to potatoes. Sounds like a good deal for the Farmworkers / CCF. 106.3 has better coverage in the central valley floor into Fresno and keeps the Visalia-Hanford-Tulare area as well. Now CCF can sell the 95.3 Kerman. 106.3 means more beer ads -- I mean enhanced sponsorships.

The FCC approved the sale of the two stations on 03/11/2019 but the sale has yet to be consumated.
