103.9 Boerne on air

Looks like it's on with oldies calling itself Boerne Radio, haven't heard the KBRN 1500 side of this but that should be up too.

I was told last month by a radio broker it was in the process of being sold that a buyer had signed an asset purchase agreement.

There is now a sale pending. Looks like its being purchased by Chambers family, George Chambers local San Antonio musician.

Is this the George Chambers of the Chambers Brothers ("Time Has Come Today")????
Just curious.....

THAT George Chambers is now 87 years old, but apparently still performs occasionally with the current reconstituted version of The Chambers Brothers. Time has not yet come today for George...!!!

KBRN actually has a nice format on it now, I'm hearing vintage audio clips with the oldies and some classic country. The announcement person is the same guy who does work for WOAI, it sounds like.

Inaccureate both are on the air, and I'm not gonna make an account on the website to read the rest of the article.
It's good you're sharing info however, and I'm not against the website having the story up for those not on this forum.

Another thing someone told me that LPFMs can't have family members who own full power stations.
And you wanna know what's worse? KBRN's current owner who is doing bad things and breaking the FCC's rules in Corpus Christi and not getting caught.

LOL I guess people break the rules all the time and it's only illegal if the police catch you.
