Mack to Mornings at WMIA

Mack slides from afternoons at Y100 to mornings at 93-9 WMIA. Does that mean there will be a new morning show at Wild 95-5 in West Palm? Or will Mack and crew voicetrack it?

Premiere's Brooke and Jubal used to air on 103.1 WIRK until recently so they could end up there. Wild's format is more fitting for that show anyway.

More syndication is the last thing we need. With that said, Mack was on Wild this morning. It looks like he will voicetrack mornings there.

Yes, a new show starts tomorrow morning. Voicetrack assumed....Y100’s Middayer Michelle Fay and Nighttime Jock (now afternooner) Frankie P are doing mornings from 6-10 on Wild 95-5. D38D6146-7305-414E-950B-6E6BB52A97E0.jpg

Wow. A big percentage of the market’s morning shows are either voice tracked or syndicated. We should be very thankful that we have one high quality live show left - KVJ.

I'd like to know if the folks tracking mornings for Wild are getting a little extra money for the show or if it's just 'added duties'

Is being quasi-local by voicetracking from an adjacent market that much better than running a syndicated show? I don't think anyone on these boards would disagree that local is better than network but when you're piping in a show anyway why not go with option whose sole focus is mornings as opposed to tasking people who already have a job with it?

Being quasi-local and voice-tracked is better than syndication. Why? At least there’s a local element. At least local issues and events can be discussed.
