FCC yanks license of WJDF 97.3 Orange MA

Wow, I haven't looked at the All Access site for a little while. What a spammy site it has become! Popups galore, and so many animated ads my computer has a tough time loading it!

OK about the non overlap of the 97.3s but when I did a search I mis typed the calls as WJFD and realized the similarity of the calls. That New Bedford station does cover a lot of territory.

Though it's a minor point, the Athol Daily News miscalculated the arrearage.

Athol Daily News said:
nearly $8,000 in regulatory fees, dating back to 2014. Broken down by year, the Commission’s order claims Deane Brothers Broadcasting, Inc. owes the FCC $1,946.50 for FY 2014, $1,921.17 for FY 2015, $2,063.20 for FY 2016, $1,898.36 for FY 2017, and $ 1,812.50 for FY 2018.

The sum of the delinquent fees—from FY 2014 through FY 2018—is $9,641.73.
