99.9 San Antonio expired and is still on

That's good, but the transmitter for 99.9 is passing gas along with the music, on my radio at least - maybe the engineer is looking at this website and can turn the twisty knob down for volume.

We'll see what happens.

Contact them, if you can, and tell them about it. In my experience, station owners are usually far too busy to know there's a problem. In some cases, they aren't located near enough to monitor the signals they own if they are spread out like some are where I live. Since some of these stations employ contract staff, they operate many different stations in a given area. They probably won't be listening if they are busy with another station in some far flung area or doing some training at a conference. Some owners and engineers visit this forum and some don't. I know who does based on my posts because I'm in contact with them either by telephone, e-mail or some messenger app.

I do like you do and monitor stations. Some are interested in knowing that something is wrong and others don't. Usually, I'll get a response. Most of them have been very grateful that I told them.

Try it.

KC4RAE.. that's what I've said to AnyHuman too.. all he does is post on here about what stations are doing wrong, pointing out their failures and making some wildly inaccurate accusations/guessing....never seen him say anything positive and when i have called him out, he usually ignores it.

And when hes called out, he doesnt come back to defend himself or admit hes wrong.. i called him out on something 3-4 days ago, he hasnt responded but comes back to post other nonsense here... and his shenanigans continue

Sorry I haven't replied. I stay busy at work.

I saw your post. Interesting pattern.

Here's my advice, AnyHuman. Go to college and get some training in broadcast engineering. Once you've done that, get a SBE certification. It shows others you know your stuff. When there's a problem with a station, offer your knowledge to them. I do, usually to small broadcasters when they need someone is a pinch and no one else is available in the near term. You seem to be passionate about radio, so go do it.

I've mentioned previously on these boards that AnyHuman's posts are unintelligible gibberish at best. He creates 95 percent of the threads on here and then talks to himself on them; most people don't reply to his drivel. I've suggested to the board moderators that he be booted. Doing so would certainly clear these forums of his babble.
