How many years have we poked this pinata?
It's Persons 12+.
Yes, it's amusing to speculate, but Persons 12+ and five Cumulus stations not shown = more uncertainty than ever.
The 12+ Kiss-Star-Breeze logjam will be sorted out Persons 18-49 and 25-54.
A few twelve-plus-takeaways.
The Breeze is up, Kiss is flat and Star is down. Meh. Bet there's some interesting give and take in Persons 25-54. It wouldn't be a surprise to learn that all three stations placed top five or six in the money demo.
That WGR is down is a surprise because the demise of Sabres generated a lot of (mostly negative) talk. Maybe most Sabres fans just threw in the towel and left it to 37 regular callers to represent.
WBEN? Sorry, but much as this station isn't my cup of broth, its performance doesn't surprise me in the least: crappy weather, traffic messes, local events and the local and national political climate drive WBEN, which is to radio listening conservatives as Fox News is to television viewing conservatives. WGOP.
Good to see WBFO and WNED-FM are listed and healthy. I suspect their qualitatives and 35+ are quite healthy.
WYRK is a head-scratcher. Its 12+ slide might point to current product, just like CHR ebbs and flows. Again, it's 12+ ... break out the dayparts and demos, and it wouldn't be a surprise if WYRK remains top five, maybe even top three.
WBLK is down 12+ but Buffalo's urban legacy probably smokes the market 12-34 and 18-49.
WECK is up four tenths.
The mystery is 97 Rock and WHTT. Wouldn't be a surprise if 97 Rock especially had a good book. Did 97 Rock beat WGR in Persons 25-54 Men?
It would be interesting to see what Persons 25-54 looks like and discover what effect, if any, The Breeze may have had on WHTT. My guess is The Breeze may have had some impact on WHTT and to a lesser effect, WECK, but made its gains at the expense of WTSS.
