It was a swap deal. In exchange for the Erie stations, iHeart gave up a couple of the stations they had in the Aloha Trust in Maryland.
iHeart seems more focused on their digital platform at the moment, and only seems to expand their radio station portfolio via swaps or if it would greatly benefit them.
What it means is the creditors now own the company. They won't be spending money to buy radio stations. They will be looking to unload dead weight in the various trusts around the country. That's what happened in Erie.
