La Red Hispana is a non-profit distributor of programming out of the DC area. It is essentially a syndicator for public affairs and public service type shows. It's not a radio station.

Mr Eduardo Here is a question for you. I am listening to Que Buena 92.9 and they just did a traffic report. Erika Reyna was the lady who was giving the traffic report. She is the same Erika Reyna that does the reports on Houston’s 102.9. What other markets does she do the reports for?

By the way I can hear 102.9 KLTN all the way here in San Antonio Tx.

It’s the only station from Houston that I could pick up all the way here. Very statically as I got close to Sea World. But when I got to San Antonio City limita I still could pick it up.

I’m just hearing the usual KBLT or KCDF when checking 96.1 in the car, with a little of the KTEK translator thrown in. Occasionally KAGG makes it through.

Might keep an ear out for any reactivation of KIRP, though I have no info on such a possibility.

Warm weather.

It's nothing special.

Why?? They aren't 2000ft full Class C's like Houston signals are...their range is normal for their height and power
Beaumont stations were almost regulars (before the translators signed) around Houston and they are only a few miles closer to Downtown.

Take KCOL as an example. It has less height and lower power than KNDE, yet they were easier to catch around Houston than KNDE ever was (unless you were north of Spring).

And KCOL was not nearly as powerful as KIOC.

Enhanced coverage due to east west ducting...N S doesn't happen as often...have seen the same thing with ham rptrs in VHF range between BPT and Houston

Erika Reyna - Ayala is based in LA and does traffic for about 10 Univision stations
