87.7 "The Bridge" on 94.3

Last night (Sunday), I had my radio set (in my automobile) on 87.7. I heard the announcer say something about WPBQ.

Today, I have driven to Jackson, and 87.7 "The Bridge" is also casting on 94.3. Also, I had to go into the building where WPBQ is loctated, and I did not see any activity (although I did not examine too much).

I listened yesterday - didn't hear 94.3, 99.1, 1240 or 970 on the air. Not sure what's going on.

WFQY 970 is running dead air, which has been going on for several years. Not sure about 99.1. Haven't heard it lately either. If I were "The Bridge" I would move the format to another frequency (s) and either shut down 87.7 or turn it into a real TV station. They should go digital on channel 6.1. They could still simulcast music on 6.2 but only for TV viewers.
