Aircheckdownloads.com United States archive apparently gone.

I recently checked the website radioairchecks.com us archive of airchecks and the category was simply gone. I downloaded a lot of us airchecks from there before and they use to have them categorized in Stations starting with W and stations starting with K in the United States. I really hope they are backed up somewhere because there were literally thousands of them.

And yeah you know this post is probably going to get a lot of views and attention and that makes their website look embarrassing that they would get rid of all the united states airchecks thats ridiculous to be honest because a lot of people myself included enjoyed downloading them and listening to those.

One of the issues with these aircheck sites is the music is subject to digital royalty payments. I remember that was an issue with ReelRadio.

This is the response they gave me on facebook.
We are a UK based site that had US content until recently which was discontinued because it wasn't gaining much traffic or interaction. It was also becoming harder to source new material. We kept it online for 7 years but decided to focus our attention on what gained the most traffic for us.

We are the only site that is dedicated to UK airchecks and jingles so there is a great deal of interest in the content we post on the site and also within the Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/235054357232697

I think they did themselves in when they quit updating the U.S. portion. I had that site bookmarked on my phone and for a while, would download one aircheck a month or so from there, depending on what was there that I liked. I still have all the ones I downloaded. I also did submit a few of them, which I still have along with about a hundred others I've recorded over the years.

I got a response they said that the air checks were not drawing in the audience for their site and that they were based in another country. I said basically that makes no sense because that is the main reason myself and people went on that website at all apparently they disagree with that.
