An all new Classic Hits version of the iconic "Wolfman Jack Radio Show" is now available to stations through Envision Networks. The new shows feature all of Wolfman's legendary antics and bits built into a Classic Hits playlist produced by Kroeger Media. The Classic Hits format includes music from artists such as Aerosmith, U2, Van Halen, Green Day, Beastie Boys, Matchbox 20, David Bowie, the Goo Goo Dolls, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, AC/DC, Bryan Adams and Cyndi Lauper, among others.

Here is one of the old Recordings of Wolfman Jack that aired on KRTH Los Angeles.

Heard the show but not crazy over the format. They should find uncut version of his old original shows and re-air them...Hearing the newer tunes which dont mix with older tunes that he played back in his day on the air.

If you click on the link, you'll see the following:

"Stations can broadcast the original shows, the new Classic Hits version or choose to incorporate Wolfman Jack's breaks with their own music playlist and use the show actualities to run as a shorter weekly program or daily show."

As I recall, this was originally an oldies show that he did for oldies stations in the 90s. But it was based on what would be considered oldies 20 years ago. Today, the format is a bit different.

If edited together right, could be cool for a little while. Not sure for how long before it became difficult to incorporate the same Wolfman tracks into different songs without sounding stale.

I agree. I haven't heard the show yet, but it sounds like it needs a 2nd host to vary things up a bit, and provide continuity.
