Recent Hd Changes

105.1 now becomes the country tri-fecta with the hd-2 channel becoming "The Wolf" and country oldies " The Ranch" moving to hd-3. The new 96.1 hd-2 is now the simulcast of sports talk 1140 that was previously on 105.1 hd-3. Also, 92.5 " The Breeze" deletes it's hd-2 feed of KFBK. Good move. Why did we need KFBK on 1530am , 93.1fm, and 92.5 hd-2?

Because no one listens to AM anymore (I'm kidding), and 93.1 leaves a lot to be desired.

Any music on an HD3 subchannel is atrocious, it would sound better through a phone line. IMO, the only advantage of HD radio for an operator is re-broadcasting one of the subs on an analog translator.

Hilarious that I had to read it here that we dropped the hd-2 on 92.5. (I had heard we might) I was actually at the transmitter site when I saw it, and had to check.... Sho-nuff! Haw! I like "The Ranch" for old school country but *GAWD* it sounds awful, quality wise....

as far as I know....
