I was surprised to learn this show had Brent Musburger hosting. I presume they are buying the time in large markets, although I suspect this has the potential to bring in more ears than the usual brokered fare.

VSiN has hooked up with Gow (who runs SB Nation Radio) to syndicate its content, so there could be barter or cash + barter involved.

It's certainly the highest profile affiliate for the network; the others are in Vegas and Atlantic City.

Personally, knowing some guys who got themselves into deep trouble by
betting the rent money on football, I don't see this as a good thing.

By the same token, sports betting will have to be approved on a state by state basis, so you'll have the opportunity to vote for or against it.

No surprise there. Illinois will take revenue anyplace they can get it.
