WGAN moved to 98.5 from 105.5

560 WGAN has moved from it's 105.5 translator to 98.5. Currently simulcasting to let listeners know about the move. 105.5 would make a great translator for 104.7 WHTP which doesn't have a great signal in the city of Portland.

I noticed the 105.5 translator for WEZR 1240 in Lewiston looks like it might be moving to 95.3 according to the FCC applications.Coincedence, or is something up with 105.5?

Antenna issues press pause on new translator change

>>due to issues with the translator antenna and combiner. The new translator’s combiner system and antenna were causing matching issues that will require resolution from their manufacturers. W253DA shared an antenna with Saga’s “Rewind 100.9” WYNZ South Portland and three additional translators. WGAN continues to be heard on 105.5 W288CU Portland, which was set to debut a new form
