Classic's 102.9 cranking up the rhythm?

In the past couple weeks they seem to be playing more rhythmic tunes. Is it a format tweak? I always thought that was the direction they should go instead of smokin' on slow jams. Have some recent personnel changes been made?

Or, simply, they did a music test and have recently implemented it.
 
They sound great with more upbeat jamz. Hurricane Dave exited but not sure if that had any effects on the music. Also, RickeySmiley is taking Tom Joyners spot come New Years. I personally like Mitch Faulkner’s show. Wish they’d move it to Saturday nights
 
Yes they do! I have been listening to them more than usual lately. I seem to catch the Hughley afternoon show a lot while driving around.
