It still booms into the Sierra foothills about 50 miles to your SSW. I’m actually amazed at how decent that signal gets out. I can pick it up fairly easy in most spots driving near Sonora and that’s a 3+ hour drive from Colusa.
I also know there was an application for a LPFM in Sacramento on 107.5. That may have something to do with it. Don’t know how that will work out with the full powered Sutter Creek station on 107.5 (or 107.9) coming in soon as well.
The FCC saw through the applications and dismissed them. Channel 300B Sacramento has been declared an open allotment therefore making the other applications moot.
Sneaky move (in plain sight) by the owners of KZSZ.
