WSB moving to Dunwoody?

They currently identify as Doraville. This will give them a Dunwoody presence. Doraville has turned into a real s-hole in recent years as crime is off the chart. They just sacked the police chief for allowing illegals to drive with no drivers' license.
Dunwoody is a classier area and is just one township north of Doraville.

I was asking if WSB-TV was moving its studios from Midtown to Dunwoody.

Most likely not. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper, which Cox owns, is based in Dunwoody, so that's where Apollo will set up offices. WSB will likely stay where it is on West Peachtree.

30 seconds with Google tells me that the Doraville police chief, John King, was appointed by Governor Kemp to a state-wide office as insurance commissioner. As far as I can tell, Charles Atkinson is still acting police chief there. No one has been fired, unless it has happened so recently that the AJC has not reported on it yet.

As far as I can tell, Doraville has fairly typical crime compared to any suburb in America. There were 63 police reports filed in the last 28 days, of which one-quarter were domestic assaults, one-quarter were petty theft/shoplifting, and 20% were drugs/alcohol related.

Anybody who is anybody has offices in Dunwoody.
Dunwoody is a showcase city. It is unlike Atlanta (and Doraville) where there is trash in the streets and graffiti everywhere.
Doraville crime is twice the national average:

Scroll down to the crime index. Unusual for a small town.
Doraville is currently involved in a FEDERAL lawsuit. Also unusual for a small town.
They are often the subject for ridicule on the Erik Eriksen Show for:
Cops having sex while on duty.
Pornographic video on police dept. website.
Death of a Jewish guy in the DPD jail. (Just like Epstein. Hmm.) Paid out $2M on that one. (Also unusual for a small town.)
They arrested (and fined) a little old lady for cracks in her driveway. (Story made national news.)
McDonald's closed and bulldozed their Doraville restaurant.
The Dunwoody police chief has said publicly the Doraville is not doing a good job.

I didn't say that the Doraville PD was well-run. Just that its chief got promoted to a higher office, not fired.
