Kelly vs Tamron

I can see why - Kelly's a fun host. Her guests this week have been great - even Dwayne Johnson leaving his honeymoon 1 day early filling in for the injured Kevin Hart. I love how she sings a audience member request's song as she comes out.
Tamron is OK, and covers some interesting topics.
 
shouldn't this thread be in the "Sydication TV" section since both show are Sydicated and not on the Network's daytime lineups.

also, i'm sure Kelly Clarkson's show will outlive Tamron Hall's show, i have a feeling Tamron's show is gonna be like Anderson Cooper's daytime show, a flop destined to be canceled.
 
I really enjoyed Kelly Clarkson Show it will be on for years to come. Tamron Hall show isn't going to last just my opinion.

I think she's too manic. Unless they plan on running best-of episodes during her personal down-phases, it will be difficult to keep this up.
That, and I see the audience getting worn out by her style.
 
Too manic? Then explain why Ellen DeGeneres has been spreading a similar stance for 17 seasons? Guessing it's all the games? The 12 Days of Giveaways?

Sure, the games and Ellen's delivery is pretty smooth. Ellen is also a comedian and very quick and thoughtful with her lines.

Kelly Clarkson is like that Sorority girl who shows up at a party and is constantly loud and obnoxious as if to say; 'LOOK AT ME!!..PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!. After a while, it's just annoying and everyone is looking forward to her departure.
 
I disagree. What you call manic, many people consider to simply be happy and gregarious, neither of which are undesirable in a talk show host.

I think she's found a good niche here. She also comes off as authentic to many people.

Don't be surprised if Tamron doesn't crater and ends up as the next Oprah. Stranger things have happened.

Back when Queen Latifah's show was on the air, I was surprised that Wendy Willams was the competitor. Wendy's show deserved to be cancelled--what was the appeal? Wendy just runs her mouth the entire show and is very neurotic, skeptical, judgmental and sarcastic.

Recently the tabloids were starting to run drug abuse rumors (I just ignored it.). When she admitted that she checked herself into rehab about 6 months ago, I was surprised that the rumors were true and the energetic persona finally made sense. Cocaine is one hell of a drug!

Wendy is still on the air and idk what Queen Latifah is doing these days.
