Entercom South Florida Signal Issues

Since the move to the new studio facility, both the 790 and 560 AM signals have spent time off the air and the HD signals for 101.5, 102.7, 96.5 (no HD2 or HD3 operating), and 99.9 (no HD2 or HD3 operating) are not operating normally either. Any idea on what's going on? Cox and iHeart seem to have all their signals operating normally so I'm not thinking this is due to the repack.

Could be a studio-transmitter link issue. I wouldn't be surprised to hear they are using some other type of temporary STL while the system they were using in north Dade is setup in the new building. The stations were without call in lines for weeks so it wouldn't be much of a shock to find out the STL wasn't ready either.

I'd chalk it all up to new building gremlins. Taking 6 stations from 2 separate locations and combining them all into a brand new facility is a massive undertaking so there's bound to be issues. A year from now it will be like they've been in the Citadel for a decade and even then the engineers and IT people will be snuffing out fires almost daily just like at any other radio station.

Makes complete sense. Hope the gremlins get worked out soon!
