New York Vinnie Back on Seattle Airwaves

He's been doing that Drivetime feature for a while now. Good to have him back - used to love seeing those stories from 2000 when Mariners players rubbed his belly for good luck in the playoffs!

It's good that he is back ANYWHERE at this point. The poor guy was in a medically induced coma for over two months a couple years back due to respiratory issues. Glad to see him. He might be a little late to save Alfy's Pizza at this point though!

EDIT: I stand corrected. Alfy's lives, though they are down to 3 locations. Maybe Vinnie can be their spokesman again, if they have the ad budget that is.

Vinnie is a good guy. I enjoyed working with him in the early days of Sports Radio KJR. Hopefully he won't get sticker shock, as to how expensive living in the Seattle area has become. Not to mention the horrible traffic...

Everybody buys airtime on KKNW, as it is a brokered station. I understand he is looking to syndicate out of Seattle. (Well, Bellevue, I suppose...)
