October ratings are here

October numbers: https://ratings.****************/content/arb033

The Eagle still showing strong numbers.

Sunny and The Spot not far apart. Sunny has been slipping lately, but Christmas music starts in a few weeks.

The Buzz moving up. No other choices for the Rock/Alternative fans.

Why is KSBJ slipping? NGEN grabbing the younger listeners? Or is the now unlisted and reformatted Air1 finding its audience?

Air coming out of the La Raza and El Norte balloons. How will LBI Media’s brand new management respond?

Country Legends still doing fine for its rimshot signal.

There must be a few Classical Music devotees who know what an HD Radio is and how to use one.

And our favorite dumpster fire, KROI, slips back into the zeroes. Two months left in the alleged “three year project.”

Personally I look for all the LBI media stations to go up for sale except for the TV station. Anybody got a couple of million lying around they want to invest?? LOL

How's KHMX doing in target demos? I'm sure it's better than overall numbers, but even those seem weak for a Missouri City signal.

I’m surprised how KLTN has higher rating than KODA. I guess people actually listen to all these talk shows that KLTN has now. I personally don’t listen to KLTN anymore since they moved ERAZNO AND LA CHOKOLATA to LA RAZA.

Maybe occasionally I’ll Listen to Raul Brindis in the morning but other than that no.

The issue is whether the cash flow is more valuable than the sale price.

The LBI stations are all rimshots or class A's and the like, so they have little value. But if they are producing profits, they are better kept in the portfolio.

Keep 98.5 and 107.9 which, for rimshots, are doing okay. Get rid of exurban sticks on 101.7 and 103.3, which provide no useful coverage of metro Houston and probably aren't worth the carrying costs. KEYH 850 is a tossup as it still mainains a weak pulse in the ratings.
