latest PPM, Summer is over.

Kids are back in school and the summer listening trends are Movin on.
KQMV with a 1.4 gain
Has the sound Peaked?
Sports fans seem to like the new line up on 710 ESPN with help from the Hawks. Even KJR-AM is up and KFNQ broke a .4 (is this there best book yet?). Sports doing OK
KUOW not sliding any more.
KNUC slides but the wolf stays consistent.
Six sliders on the menu, looks like the buns are stale and the taste is bland.
Lots of moving going on, but these numbers mean very little, just a glimpse of a stations health. Makes you wonder how healthy things are at Sinclair radio, the steady decline of their heritage stations can't be good for billing.
Rest of the Spooky number can be seen here.

Happy Halloween

KJR AM is probably getting a bump from some of the Sounders playoffs, and other live content this fall. Glad to see that KIRO-AM didn't drop like a stone.

106.1 at a 2.2...just flip the format already. Kiss was 'dead' at this time last year with the stunt that wasn't, then the morning show got some traction, now it's back to rock bottom. Even KUBE is way over them in this PPM.
101.5 at a 2.4 - lowest ever?
Still 3rd on 94.1, and yes, I'm betting this is as far as they go this year. Won't be long before ho-ho-ho takes over 106.9 and they get 10 and maybe 11 in the PPMs.

Bring in Elvis Duran on 106.1. 93.3 maybe bring in a local show. Change Kiss' name to Channel or Z or Q or B or K or Radio Now or Hot because they don't even mention the kiss name on air.

Carla Marie and Anthony started out as Elvis Duran staffers, they have been using tactics from that show from the beginning.

Bender has a better connection with Seattle than more iHeart imports, bring HIM back.

The KUBE morning show is already local (if they don't sound local, that's a problem).

According to Bob, nobody listens to sports-radio.

I'm never going to live that down, am I? In this market, sports does okay. I would think it does pretty well in most major markets with one or more of the big three sports, but there are definitely examples where it doesn't. Portland for example, has all of an NBA and MLS team, and averages about a one share per station.

out of the 5 iheart stations in the phoenix az area KZZP looks the most concerning

This truly belongs in the Phoenix section.

In any case, if you look at 18-34 and 25-44 (particularly women) KZZP is doing just fine.

Added: KZZP is 3rd in 18-34 and 5th in 18-49. Those are strong sales numbers.

To be fair, some of those Portland stations that Bob was referencing are just local outlets for national programming. Not a significant amount listeners, but plenty of revenue with all of those "Call 8-8-8" spots.
