He's offering SW time for $15 an hour on 5130. This has got to be at cost. Now to be truthful, 5130 doesn't have the coverage of 7490. From what I can hear in the South I don't think its 100KW. But it probably has good coverage in the NE and central US.
Perhaps this is a marketing gimmick to woo some clients from WWCR and WRMI.
 
Or get some pirates to go on the air, have some fun.

I haven't heard a peep from 9330 khz over the past two months. I wonder how things are progressing there.
 
I thought I was just checking at the wrong times. I haven't heard anything on 9330 when I've checked since September anyway, and that's from any receiver I've used.

It looks like the special did not last long - the website now says $35.

Found this October 3 post on World's Last Chance site:

So maybe they are still working on the transmitter or antenna?
