Cyberdad and I have been playing tag-you're-it for awhile. His upward dial twain and my downward one indeed does meet at 1500, as a few sharpies here posted.

What 'new' station would you like to identify for a 'gotcha -- finally' in your logbook?

It's KSTP for me. Should be an easy one if WFCC, or whatever they're called, leave the air for maintenance. You know, installing new batteries in their laptops and phones connected directly to Wall Street.

Just the opposite situation here:

KSTP is my only log on 1500 kHz. I have never heard WFED...

Same here. Even though I'm not in their main lobe KSTP is audible in the Chicago area most nights. WFED is tougher and when I do hear it it's during critical hours not at night.
 
KHKA Honolulu HI! I mean the channel is wide open after KSTP sunrise, minus a bit of KSJX.
 
Mostly WFED if anything in East Tennessee. I'd like to "DX home" and hear former local WBZI, Xenia, Ohio which should be do-able around sunset. I have heard co-owned simulcast partner WKFI, Wilmington.
 
I'd like to hear the Mexico City station again. Got that on my old boombox in 2011, with and without an external loop.

Was great to hear -- auroral conditions that night. Probably this time of year.
 
XEDF is the calls for 1500 Mexico City. Yes, would love to hear them too. But KHKA seems a wee bit easier especially if the conditions are auroral and it's 5 in the morning. Wide open channel.

Well I would think you have a shot at it before sunrise. Years ago when I was in Northern California I heard the 650 in Honolulu right before sunrise. Of course the band wasn't as crowded then.
