Let's talk about WECK's 3.6 share Oct Book...

BEATING 50,000 watt The Breeze (Put you to sleep) and JACK-FM (taking up Rand building closet space). Usually, posters are jumping for the opportunity to talk ratings when they come on All Access....let's not forget WECK tied WHTT 50 plus with a 6.3 share and that WECK is #7 in the market 35 plus. BAM! That's not counting FM #3 TBA
 
Actually, just looking, All Access screwed it up, WECK had a 3.7 share 12 plus
 
Radio Online and All Access report WECK with a 3.6 for October 2019. The October report is presumably August, September & October under the new Nielsen system. Why would it be off by a tenth of a share?

WECK had a very respectable showing. Of course, these numbers are before the termination of Tom Donohue. Time will tell if the change has any negative impact.

WYRK had a steep drop losing 2.5 shares. Cumulus stations again are not listed(Gotta Pay To Play)...

They were off a tenth of a point idiot. All access is not Neilson. WECK had a 3.7. Period. I subscribe. All access does not.

you know, Buddy.. it shows what kind of person you are when as a station owner whos supposed to be an adult, you stoop so low to refer to someone on here as an idiot. I can see why there's been turnover at your place if your attitude and behavior on here is any key

BTW, Allaccess isn't NEILSEN (you can't even spell it right when insulting someone).....but the ratings listed on allaccess come form NEILSEN (not Neilson)

Turnover? 2 news people who left? I let the morning show go. Many more hirings than turnover. Far more turnover at other stations. Tbolt is an idiot in my opinion. He is wrong about everything. Make assumptions with no facts. Always plays the negative like referring to Tom Donahue being let go......, our lowest rated day part by far, I might add. Tbolt adds nothing. His eyes I green with envy. And frankly, I could give a **** if I spell Neilson wrong. We are touching a 4 share. And it won’t end there. I will spell it the way I want. Go teach English spelling class and stay off a board where radio professionals talk.

I am a broadcast professional too, Buddy.. been on the radio 16 years and am currently on the air at 2 stations. thank goodness my DJ skills arent dependent on my typing online .. my typing sucks, I freely admit that

I'd imagine being a poor speller is the No. 1 reason why people interested in communications go into radio rather than print. Of course, a poor speller might be able to get by on TV, too, but the No. 1 reason people interested in communications go into radio -- or print -- rather than TV is that they're too ugly for TV. I'm in print, but the radio people I've met over the years, starting in college, have almost all been atrocious spellers.

im full time at one and do great.. im part time at another because i choose to be, not because i have to be......I do it so i have what the cool kids call it.. mad money for hobby related purchases and other entertainment.

Wait, why am i defending myself to you? you dont know who i am, have never met me, know nothing about me and doing what you accuse tbolt of.. making assumptions.

While that is a broad generalization, I know as many poor spellers as not, which is probably a higher percentage than in the general population.

Oddly, I can't spell worth a darn in English and my spelling gets worse as the years pass. Yet in Spanish, I'm the one people come to for proof reading and corrections as my spelling is nearly perfect in that language. English, being a non-intuitive language kludged together from a variety of European and Scandinavian tongues, is pretty challenging.
 
The title of this thread (and all the other WECK threads) tell you all you need to know about Buddy's character. Other Radio "professionals" aren't constantly posting in this forum seeking praise. Nielsen probably doesn't care how Buddy spells their name as long as they get money from him.

So, Nielsen gave incorrect numbers to All Access and Radio Online. Did that only apply to WECK or the other stations as well? WECK changed its morning show. It's valid to question whether future ratings may be affected...

My bad typing aside, which I freely admit to..... Buddy stooping to the level he has in insulting you and to a lesser degree, me.. shows what hes really like and says alot about him.

Yes, I am accusing tbolt of making assumptions, when I know the facts. The freaking numbers are right in front of me. Weck had a 3.7 not 3.6. I KNOW that. I am looking at it. The posters on here make a lot of assumptions incorrectly about me as well. So I am defending myself. The Donahue question is valid. But tbolt did not seem interested in how star would do after they just fired their 43 year midday guy. And your right, I don’t know you because you choose not to be know for whatever reason. I say who I am here.
 
I wonder... were I to be a fly on the wall of, say, the top 10 radio stations in Buffalo, New York... would I hear a legitimate/meaningful concern over business being lost to, or not obtained because of, WECK?
