Vibe is a bit messy right now. I do like their new imaging but music selection is all over the place. Despite its current sound the format has potential. I've said this in a different thread but SA needs a format that plays the popular "SA hits" from the 80s, 90, 00s to current. Less Classic Hip Hop and more of the music that made KTFM #1
Unfortunately, I don't believe Homie Marco(PD) can think beyond Hip Hop/R&B & Spanish.

Tuning in to Vibe this morning, the playlist has a little more variety today than over the weekend. I am still wanting to hear Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Calvin Harris, Demi Lovato, Pussycat Dolls, Zedd, Paula Abdul. Expose, Cover Girls, Amber, etc.

Same here but Alpha Media needs to do a better job in getting the word out about G103.3. Especially, when 94.1 airs throwbacks and their Freestyle Friday Mix. Excellent time to promote their sister station.

Somewhat. Vibe tends to lean more Rhythmic and has no Latin feel to it. It seems like The Beat and Vibe are more likely to share listeners than to split the listeners from the two of the top stations, Magic 105.3 and 94.1 KTFM. I still believe Vibe should decrease Hip Hop and play more Pop from the 90s, 00s and today. Remixes?

Vibe and KTFM sound nothing alike. Again, I don't understand if they are targeting their sister station (The Beat) or hoping to put a dent to KTFM, KXXM or KSMG. Anyhow, see Vibes and KTFM below.

As of late, Vibe went through another phase, this time leaning more R&B from 90s & 00s. They seem to throwing tweaks every month or two to see what sticks.

G103-3 on the other seems to be staying the course. Thus far, it seems to be paying off as they are up to 1.3. Not bad for 185 watts signal. They also seem to have more advertisers than Vibe but revenue is likely lower on G103.3.
