Bugs removed from Weigel-owned subchannels during shows

It could have just been a glitch in their software that they use to display their onscreen bugs. They may have been trying to update the software as well.
Recently, I noticed that the "Me TV" bug hasn't been appearing on the bottom right hand corner of the TV screen during shows. This is the also the case for H&I and Start TV... Has Weigel decided to ban network logos during broadcasts? Or is this just temporary?
Why would they want to ban their own network logo. I have noticed before with showtime and epix channels sometimes do not have the logo on the screen during movies although they have to show it at least once during the hour to identify the channel although I could be wrong on that.

At least once per hour is a definite broadcast rule. Both for OTA TV and radio. But I've never even thought if that applies to cable channels.

Most cable channels have their station id up almost always like FX, Freeform, FXX, Chiller, AMC, but channels like Showtime have gone more than an hour with no station ID before. Also History channel is another one that I notice almost always has their logo up on the screen.

Start TV doesn't have their logo bug.
I'd say to Weigel, leave those logo bugs off. They were never on programming during the '70s, so why put them back on? Much better than some of these cable networks that have a logo bug, a promo bug ('all new episode XXXXXXXXX Monday 10/9c') and occasionally a freggin HASHTAG! And don't even get me started on those stupid, stupid 'countdowns' to an all new episode of something (new episode XXXXXXXX in 16:54:06, 16:54:05, etc etc.)
Hi all...........The only problem I see with removing bugs on the screen is when people record these shows off the channels and upload them to video sites like YouTube and others and at times the copyright bots dont delete them .At lease with the bugs they can see the source where the program came from.Of course in once in the while you get a wise guy that covers up the channel bug with their own logo....................
ME-TV and H&I have had thier bugs returned to the screen. Start TV once had it back then it was gone again then it came back last night for "Strong Medicine" but who knows how long that will last?
If your in the Des Moines market that could be one of the reasons for the logo being off at certain times.
