I think I can now hear a dead carrier on 98.1 not playing anything. Is this the new LPFM KCTC-LP getting together? Good for them!

Update -- I can no longer hear it. Either they were testing momentarily or someone had a vehicle transmitter unit where I am a minute ago.

I really don't think it's on...... I can't find it on Google - this was the first result.

So the license to cover was granted but the transfer of control was dismissed?

The letter I links says: On behalf, of Omega Christian Communications, it is respectfully requested that the above-referenced application be voluntarily dismissed.

The way I read this: licensee Omega, asks the FCC to rescind their license to operate KCTC...in other words, they're done and not wanting to play anymore.

The application referenced looks like the transfer of control they also filed along with the license to cover though.
Maybe the original board members still have plans.

They're moving it downtown with 37 watts at 49 meters. I noticed the height now shows up correctly.
