More stations played Alice's Restaurant

I'm sorry I didn't post this a few days ago, but I noticed that quite a few more stations played the classic Alice's Restaurant on Thanksgiving day than I expected. Of course WZLX and WROR played it as usual, but I also heard it on 100 FM the Pike (all played it at noon, I believe). And for the first time ever, Easy 99.1 played it at 3pm. I have to say I was not completely surprised. Because it sounds like Easy 99.1 is taking on a lot of old radio traditions that were once heard on other stations, such as playing "Wishing On a Star" every Saturday at noon (I think I've heard it on Magic 106.7 a few times as well). It seems like it's really starting to move more towards classic hits now. I know people have asked Bob Bittner if he would play it on WJIB, but I think he's always said he won't do it. Does anyone know of any other stations that played Alice's Restaurant?

To mark the start of the "20's" and to stay relevant I think it would serve ZLX & ROR best to drop this tired monstrosity next year.

I thought this was an annual feature at WUMB.

Why yes, it is:

"We'd like to thank everyone for a tremendous year and want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Tune for special Programming Thanksgiving Day including Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant which you can hear at 9am, 12pm, and 3pm!."

WMWM played it at least on the Sat. before, on Acoustic Avenue.I played a single Arlo did, Alice's Rock and Roll Restaurant* (just music and singing, no story--4 min long) yesterday.
No live DJs were allowed in Thu. In past years when we did have a DJ in, we did the Beverly-Salem game and played it (the full one) afterwards.

WROR didn't play it this year.

WZLX played it at 9, Noon and 4. WXRV played it Noon.
