They preempted that for this?

Although WDSU/NBC is carrying the game itself (plus a pregame show at 6:30 Central pre-empting Inside Edition)...

Pardon my mistake. WDSU airs ET at 6:30, not IE.

IE airs on WWL/CBS in New Orleans, and tonight's airing is pre-empted by a local special titled "Treme: Death of A Neighborhood, Survival of a Culture". However, IE re-airs every weeknight at 12:37 AM.

Three NFL Games air on NFL Network exclusively this Saturday. The middle game will be Buffalo vs New England. As with Monday night games, the game only airs on "free" TV in the two home markets. In this case, it'll be on WKBW-TV (ABC) channel 7 of Buffalo and WBZ-TV (CBS) channel 4 of Boston. As for local syndication, I almost never watch local TV anymore. However, I DO know that "Wheel Of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" air on WTNH-TV (ABC) channel 8 of New Haven for my market (Hartford/New Haven).

Evening impeachment coverage pre-emptions varied depending on the network.

ABC took a break from 6-7 for local news and World News Tonight, then resumed afterward. All Eastern ABC's pre-empted the 7-8 hour with mandatory coverage. WABC New York, WPVI Philly, and WTVD Raleigh all moved Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune to the .2 Live Well Network subs. WLS Chicago moved J! there, but bumped WOF to 1:35 AM.

CBS apparently expanded CBS Evening News to an hour with the second half being optional. Live impeachment coverage resumed at 7:30, but that portion was also optional, but many affiliates aired the regular 7:00 programming and then switched to the coverage at 7:30, including WCBS New York, which aired Inside Edition in full at 7:00, then cut to the coverage during Entertainment Tonight's intro. WFMY Greensboro was among the few stations that aired programming at both 7:00 and 7:30 (WOF/J!).

NBC aired nonstop coverage until 9:00, pre-empting one of two episodes of Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways. The portion from 7-8 was optional. Some affiliates like WXIA Atlanta aired the regular shows (WOF/J!), while others like WCNC Charlotte (same shows but reversed) aired the coverage throughout. WNBC went the latter route in lieu of Access Hollywood and All Access, although they did break away from the hearings from 5-6 for local news.

ABC and CBS signed off at 8:00, but both cut in for about 7 minutes during the 8:30 slot (pausing the live special on ABC) to announce the impeachment result.

Denver FOX affiliate KDVR aired at least some coverage. Social media reports that at least some (probably all) of Jeopardy! at 6:00 was pre-empted, and WOF was joined in progress in time for the Bonus Round, which would have been around 6:53 Mountain Time.

I was so relieved WFMY chose to air "Jeopardy" when I discovered WCNC did not. I get both on my cable system.

Jimmy Kimmel and Norman Lear commented on the perfect timing airing the special when they did.

Last Friday, ABC affiliate WLOS in Asheville, North Carolina pre-empted Wheel of Fortune at 7:00 (featuring Vanna White subbing as host) with a Billy Graham infomercial, bumping it to 2:36 AM. Jeopardy! aired as normal at 7:30, naturally...

A Buffalo Bills kickoff special in anticipation of their Saturday game aired Friday evening on WROC Rochester (CBS) and WETM Elmira (NBC). WROC's broadcast is an hour from 7-8, bumping the Wheel/Jeopardy! duo to 2:37 and 3:07 AM, while WETM only airs it from 7:30-8, which keeps Jeopardy! at 7:00 and bumps Wheel to their SD indie sub 18.2.

WLOS in Asheville, NC (ABC) aired "Billy Graham: The Cost of Christmas" Friday at 7:00 Eastern, bumping Wheel of Fortune to 2:36 AM. Jeopardy! was fine, as is almost-always the case when Wheel is pre-empted...

Although both shows and others were lost unexpectedly on Friday on WOLO in Columbia, SC (ABC). The station was experiencing technical difficulties for much of the day and apparently could only air network-fed programming, with no local newscasts or syndies coming through. At 7:00, Wheel's time slot, WOLO re-aired ABC World News Tonight (I assume because ABC also offers a feed of it at that time for the small number of affiliates who delay it to that slot), then at 7:30, in place of Jeopardy! was a test pattern. Shortly before 8:00, it changed to a graphic reading "ABC - Network feed to begin shortly", and the Stan Lee special (which some markets reportedly pre-empted with random specials) aired at 8:00 as normal. WOLO announced on social media that they would officially be back on-air starting with their 11:00 news.

I wonder what the ratings were like for that test pattern! I can picture J! fans waiting patiently for the show to start. I hope, for their sake, that some sort of "technical difficulties" graphic or even a repeating announcement accompanied the test pattern for this absorbing half-hour of television.

Just curious: How do you, sitting there in Danbury, have access to such detailed information about TV happenings in Columbia? Is there a network of WOF (or J!, or both) fans constantly monitoring the prime time access slots in their markets and jumping onto some social media app to tell everyone else -- or you, in "master control" -- of every incident affecting the slot's normally scheduled programming?

Both WLUK in Green Bay and WISN in Milwaukee are airing the Monday Night Football Game tonight. Fox is airing 911 and Prodigal Son but I don't know what's going to happen on WLUK. ABC is airing Same Time, Next Christmas and The Good Doctor but don't know what's going to happen on WISN Tonight.

11:30-1:30 (or an hour after the news)

ABC is airing Same Time, Next Christmas and The Good Doctor but don't know what's going to happen on WISN Tonight.
1:30-3:30am tonight for the former and Thursday at 12:37 AM for the latter

As for Minneapolis WCCO CBS 4 they are doing the Price is Right and All Rise at 1:07-3:07 late tonight and Bull late Tuesday night at 1:40am

WOLO is the #4 station in the Columbia market, and Wheel and Jeopardy are really the only things people watch on there. So at least some people noticed.

WLUK began with a 1-hour pregame show starting at 6:00 Central. Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune (the latter has reruns this week) were moved an hour early, replacing the 5:00 newscast. A 1-hour newscast usually airing at 9:00 is delayed to after the game (10:37 at the earliest), then 9-1-1 and PS. All three replace the following: Seinfeld (10:30), DailyMailTV (two eps at 11/11:30), Live PD: Police Patrol (12:00), Paid Programming (12:30), King of Queens (1:00). Seinfeld and one of the two DMTV's move to 2:00 and 2:30 AM for tonight replacing what is usually a repeat of the 9:00 newscast.

WISN shortened their 6:00 newscast to 15 minutes, and began a pregame show at 6:15 until the game, pre-empting the first of two airings of Entertainment Tonight (it also airs at 12:07 AM). ST,NC's makegood is scheduled at 1:30 on the dot which may cut off the last few minutes of Rachael Ray which starts at 12:37 (first time I've seen a station relegate RR to late-night). This replaces a repeat of the 10:00 news and most of ABC World News Now, which will be JIP'd at 3:30. TGD's makegood in RR's slot slides that show and the news repeat back to 1:37; WNN will be JIP'd at 3:12 on Friday morning.

WCCO as usual is pre-empting Wheel of Fortune with a pregame show, delaying it to 12:07 AM Wednesday. Corden has no show that night, freeing up the hour for affiliates. WCCO is putting an infomercial followed by WOF's makegood.

WVUE New Orleans (FOX) strangely listed a Saints pregame special tonight from 6-7, with Jeopardy! and WOF bumped to 10:30 and 11:00 PM, but the Saints don't have a game until Sunday. It was a mistake; the game shows aired as normal.

This morning Tenga's FOX 61 WTIC-TV in Hartford pre-empted four hours of their 7 hour morning newscast this morning. 4AM-6AM they aired The Yule Log. 9AM-11AM they aired a movie called "3 Holiday Tails." Their news aired 6AM-9AM. I don't know what their sister station CW 20 WCCT aired 5AM-6AM, the time they normally simulcast The FOX 61 Morning News.

This morning NBC Connecticut pre-empted all their local newscast today except for the 6PM and 11PM newscasts. Newscasts usually air 4:30AM-7AM, 11AM-11:30AM, and 4PM-6:30PM. Holiday themed religious and secular programming aired. In addition their local lifestyle show CT Live at 11:30AM is pre-empted. The syndicated shows they air 1PM-4PM - Access Daily, Kelly Clarkson, and Ellen get pushed back to 3PM-6PM. At 11AM NBC Connecticut is airing a special called "Top 12 Greatest Christmas Movies", at 1PM they're airing a special called "An American Christmas with PJ Rasmussen and the Boardwalk Jazz Band", and at 2PM they're airing a special called "The Best Movies of 2019." I don't know what Telemundo Connecticut aired 5AM-5:30AM as that's normally when they simulcast NBC Connecticut's morning news. NBC Connecticut News was still on my COX OnScreen Program Guide for Telemundo Connecticut.

Merideth's WFSB Channel 3 is pre-empting the 4:30PM-6PM newscasts that normally air until 6:30PM. "The Southern Living Show" is listed on my guide for 4:30PM, 5PM, and 5:30PM. No program description is listed, but I would assume it's connected to Southern Living Magazine.

Over on NexStar's WTNH/8 ABC's Coverage of The Disney Parks Christmas Parade 10AM-Noon takes out Rachael Ray and The View. NBA Play-by-Play 2PM-11PM takes out all programming including General Hospital, Dr. Phil, Judge Judy, News from 5PM-6:30PM, ABC News, Jeopardy/Wheel, and ABC's Primetime programming.

ION is pre-empting programming this week (and next) 7AM-1PM Eastern and 1AM-3AM Eastern for Infomercials. Christmas Movies have been pre-empting regular programming on Sundays.

Superstation NTV (CJON) in Newfoundland, Canada pre-empts most non-news programming on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The only exceptions are Y&R and Days, plus an overnight block of Entertainment Tonight, Private Eyes, and Judge Judy.

Yesterday KARE 11 NBC Minneapolis did not show the new episode of Jeopardy at 4:30pm. Instead they showed their documentary "Love them First....Lessons from Lucy Laney" (which was shown previously on Tegna stations) from 4-5:30pm (4 to 4:50 and 5-5:30 is normally news).

they did not show it at all. OH THE HORROR! WE NEED TO PROTEST KARE FOR NOT SHOWING JEOPARDY!!!
