KGB Tacoma?

The KJR thread made me dig into some old radio logs from the 30's and 40's. I have the Tung-Sol radio log, the victor dial list. An old radio record from Morison electrical co. New York.

Stuck in the pages of my Mikeroscope Album & Log Book (1935) is a Map that I never really noticed. It has KJR at Wave length 38 (780khz) at 1kw. But what is interesting is KGB Tacoma at Wave length 250 (1200khz) at 100 watts. Wonder if this is a misprint? Cant find a date on the map but it appears to be late 20's. It has "Radio Map of the United States". Canada is labeled the Dominion of Canada. The map says copyright by the Clason Map Co. Chicago - Denver.

Were the KGB calls originally licensed to a Tacoma, Washington station in the 20's? KMO is also listed as Wave length 250 at 100 watts. KFBG is also listed to Tacoma at Wave length 250 but at 50 watts.
The Seattle stations listed are KFOA, Wave length 454 (660 khz) at 1kw. KHQ, Wave length 273 (1100khz) at 100 watts. KJR listed above, KTCL, Wave length 306 (980Khz) at 500 watts. KTW, Wave length (660Khz) at 1KW

It also lists KGY, Lacy Wa. 246 meters (1220Khz) at 5 watts.

Any idea of the date of this map and its accuracy?

Thanks to all that replied. I have figured that the map with the station information I have is from fall-winter 1925. Did not even know I had it until I pulled it out where it was tucked in the Mikeroscope Album & Log Book (1935).

Also looking through the archives on American radio history website I was able to figure out the date for the Victor "Dial List" on the site, listed in the unclassified 1920's. Based on the listing for KGB and KPCB it looks to be from fall-winter 1929 versus early 20's.

Will get a photo of the map/listing I found and post it so you all can take a look. I have not found it on line yet. Like me, it's in good shape considering the age.

Looks like KHQ moved between November and December 1925 to Spokane. Figuring in the KHQ listing, the map must have been put together and printed during the late summer/fall months of 1925 before the move. City location and frequency changes were happening on a monthly basis back then. Kinda frustrating that there is not a publication date on some of this stuff. Good example it the Victor "Dial-List" which I have and have come to accept was published in late 1929.

Just looking at all the early log books on the American Radio History site reveals discrepancies between listings/log books and when a certain guide was printed and the actual date a station moved or went on the air.

I should clarify my above statement. KHQ was moved to Spokane in October 1925. Their first broadcast date was October 30, 1925. By the time it was getting reported as moved in the radio logs was December 1925. It would make sense that the map/radio log I found could have been published somewhere around July-October 1925.
