97.7 Flips to Country Music in the Hudson Valley...I think they mentioned the station officially flips to County Monday Morning January 6.
 
The rimshot Amsterdam station has an Albany translator at 106.1. It will become the fourth country station in the area, joining heritage format leader WGNA, as well as The Cat and Froggy.
 
94.3 and 97.7 have a lot of signal overlap and they no longer mention 94.3 on the website. Maybe 94.3 will flip formats? If so what would it flip to?
 
That was their stated plan, but no timeline was given. I wonder if they have decided what they will do with 94.3. Perhaps they risk doing something not currently done in the market . I can't guess what though. It would be great if they tried sports, like with ESPN. Right now we only have a weak spotty signal on 1050 out of NYC. The FM simulcast on 98.7 doesn't really reach Poughkeepsie and there is adjacent channel stations on both sides.
