Antenna TV on Thursday started airing "That Girl". I noticed that not only did the episodes look less sharp than my DVDs of this show, but also its occasional showings on MeTV over the years. Do diginets like Antenna, MeTV, Decades, Cozi, etc. use the same episode sources? Do they use film, tape, digital files or what? And if they do why do the same shows look different on other channels?

It depends on the show. Both MeTV and H&I have the remastered Star Trek Shows from CBS/Paramount. Same with Gunsmoke. They recently got the Remastered early half-hour shows with the original titles that have been running on Starz Westerns for several years. (Again from CBS/Paramount)
GetTV is run by Sony Television. They have the rights to all the old CBS Variety Shows, except for Carol Burnett. Music rights cleared through parent company's acquisition of Columbia Records, and all those shows (Sonny & Cher; Smothers Brothers; Glen Cambell etc.) all got makeovers both video and audio. The movies look of DVD Quality
Cozi is run by NBC/Universal. Looks like they have been running the Blu-Ray print of The Munsters the last year or so.

I finally am able to get Me TV regularly from WLMT in Memphis with an outdoor antenna (Thanks again for doing next to nothing with Me TV WBBJ. 
) and have noticed that MASH, Andy Griffith, Hogan's Heroes, and even the Flintstones look like they have been remastered and look good even at 480i. I know this might not be the case with everything they carry though. But a lot of the shows on Antenna TV look worse like they aren't remastered.

didn't those burn in the 2008 Fire with all those UMG master tapes?
How much of the archive was moved before the fire?
I think most of what was lost in that fire was music related

In watching Svengoolie I've noticed he has said that some of the movies they show have been remastered as well. I also believe that Me TV is the primary channel in HD in some areas, so having remastered versions of a lot of their shows would make sense. Is Antenna TV in HD anywhere? With their shows that are in worse shape, I know that probably wouldn't help.
